The project “Renewing agricultural advisory services to support agroecological transitions in family farming in sub-Saharan Africa” (ACOTAF) is implemented by the consortium made up of CIRAD, IRAM, Inter- reseaux and RESCAR-AOC . It aims to strengthen knowledge management and the capacities of actors for a renewal of agricultural advice that would promote agroecological transitions in sub-Saharan Africa. 

In this perspective, studies on the inventory of the consideration of agroecological transitions in the provision of agricultural advisory services have been carried out in Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Benin, Niger and Guinea. 

These studies aim to generate knowledge on the current dynamics of taking agroecology into account by national agricultural advisory systems, and to consider the actions necessary for its strengthening in this direction.
