The specialization course in agroecology aims to train professionals qualified to reflect, debate and articulate actions focused on agroecology, enabling future specialists to directly contribute to the structuring of resilient agroecosystems and to the enhancement of sovereignty and food security and socio-biodiversity in the territories of Latin America.

This course in agroecology is presented in a binational format, supported by the State University of Rio Grande do Sul and the University of the Republic of Uruguay. The course proposes three curricular macro components on ''Agroecosystems and eco-innovation’’, ''Territorialities and Agrofood Systems’’ and ''Investigative Laboratory’’.

The classes will take place remotely starting from the second semester of 2021 and the registration is open until 9 July 2021.
