Biovision Foundation together with World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and FAO organizes an online discussion on “Agroecology in Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs)” as a part of the Informal Working Group Agroecology and Nationally Determined Contributions on 22 July 2021 at 15:00 CEST.

During the event, participants will learn and discuss how to integrate agroecology into national planning. More specifically the event will:

• present entry points to strengthen the inclusion of agroecology in national efforts to achieve the commitments and implementation of NDCs;
• showcase countries that integrate agroecology in their NDCs;
• present the processes towards this goal, in terms of opportunities and hurdles to overcome, from our members’ countries,
• strengthen our network, learn from peers and allies.

The event will be in two parts.

In the first part, 2-3 panelists will give a presentation, followed by an interactive session in breakout groups to discuss NDC processes in members’ countries.
