The article highlights the story of resilience and hope in Gaza, centered around the Al-Qarara Baladi Seed Bank, which was destroyed during the aggression on Gaza in October 2023. Despite the devastation, Hanadi, her sister Mona, and their father are determined to revive their mission of preserving the region’s agricultural heritage through the preservation of Baladi seeds. This effort continues a vision first cultivated by Hanadi and her family, who originally gathered seeds on their land in Khan Younis. Both sisters also participate in the Urban Agriculture Entrepreneurs Forum, a community platform for sharing agricultural knowledge and experiences.
