Experiences learned on climate change resilient agriculture on food security and the right to food in Latin America and the Caribbean
Adapting agriculture to build resilience to climate change involves a series of actions to identify, test, demonstrate and disseminate good agricultural practices to challenge changing climatic conditions. This study seeks to provide a conceptual and methodological framework for resilient agriculture projects and interventions in the region. It aims is to identify relevant experiences and gather valuable lessons to serve as a guideline for promoting public policies and well-targeted cooperation initiatives. The study is promoted by the INTERCOONECTA Plan of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation, the FAO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean - through the Spain-FAO Program - and the International and Ibero-American Foundation for Public Administration and Policy (FIIAPP, its acronym in Spanish), and carried out by a team from the NGO Prosalus.
