Online Learning "An introduction to agroecology" (available in English and French)
This course allows you to discover what agroecology is, what the different approaches are, and how they translate into agricultural practices and the agroecological transition. In a dynamic of participatory training, based on the social and geographical diversity of the actors, the MOOC proposes to build an approach to agroecology at the interface between agricultural sciences, ecology, and social sciences.
Course Format
This MOOC alternates between theoretical contributions presented by teacher-researchers and a co-construction of knowledge where any participant can, based on their field observations or a documentary survey, enrich the course. Each week, individual activities, self-correcting activities and collaborative activities are proposed. These allow participants to appropriate the content and test their understanding.
A common thread will support the journey of each participant, starting from the identification, from the first week, of concrete situations of implementation of agroecology. One of the last stages of the MOOC will be entirely devoted to this investigative work (whether it is field work or more theoretical work), its formatting, its restitution and its discussion.
Every week, the teaching team will organize a live event broadcast on the platform to answer all your questions.
You will also be invited to exchange and discuss among yourselves on all areas of agroecology that interest you.
