The food system in Guanajuato, Mexico faces many challenges: increasing numbers of overweight and obesity, intensive production of high value-added fruits and vegetables for export, depletion of water resources, lack of coordination of actors, low participation citizen and omnipresence of corruption. However, initiatives are emerging in the territory and the new government elected in 2018 is the source of much hope. This film was directed by Anna Faucher and Louison Lançon, from the Let's Food Association, as part of the Let's Food Cities project, within the framework of cooperation between the metropolis of Bordeaux and the State of Guanajuato. This diagnosis of the Guanajuato food system was carried out between October and December 2018. More than 40 stakeholders were interviewed and 15 positive impact initiatives were identified.
