The side event to the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) 48 will increase understanding of the interlinkages and potential synergies between the CFS policy recommendations and United Nations Food System Summit (UNFSS) to scale up agroecology, identify how CFS policy recommendations on agroecology can help implement UNFSS game-changing solutions on agroecology, and identify how UNFSS can increase uptake of the CFS policy recommendations.

The session is co-organized by World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Alliance of Bioversity International and International Center for Tropical Agriculture, CGIAR, FAO, International Panel of Experts on Sustainable Food Systems (IPES-Food), Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of Costa Rica, and Biovision.
