Organized by Jengalab and Schola Campesina within the framework of the Science and Innovation Forum. This event represented a good opportunity to discuss together how community based software solutions can be used to strengthen social values and practices. Open-source solutions can be the right resource to empower social and thematic communities. 

The roundtable is part of the side independently organized events, which preceded FAO Science and Innovation Forum, on october 12-14, and provided an opportunity to shared knowledge on agricultural science, technology and innovation that can drive the transformation of agri-food systems towards agroecology.
