On June 21, 2024, the Agroecology Fund participated in an agroecology learning event at Ugolwe Primary School in Siaya County, Kenya.

The event was organized by SCOPE Kenya, a national organization focused on promoting sustainable land use and agroecology practices in schools. SCOPE Kenya, a grantee of the Agroecology Fund, works with communities to combat food insecurity, poverty, environmental degradation, and biodiversity loss through ecological approaches.

Founded in 2014, SCOPE Kenya collaborates with 16 civil society organizations across 133 schools in 13 counties. Milka Chepkorir, a board member of the Agroecology Fund, also shared her insights at the event.
