This online and free course aims to disseminate essential concepts about the right to adequate food and the situation of this right in different countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. It responds to the crucial need to enhance awareness and understanding of this fundamental human right, emphasizing its multidimensional nature beyond mere caloric intake. Upon completion, participants can download a certificate awarded by 

Aligned with FAO's Strategic Framework, this webinar will contribute to a Better Nutrition, in particular to the BN1 Healthy Diets for All: “The right to adequate food established and transition towards healthy diets for national populations prioritized in integrated institutional, policy and legal environments that ensure and incentivize engagement of consumers and the private sector”.

This webinar will promote and highlight the main contents of the course, with a focus on the Caribbean, to engage key stakeholders and potential students. FAO officials and experts on food security and nutrition from the Caribbean will exchange information and practical experiences contributing to making the enjoyment of the right to adequate food a reality for everyone.

The conference will be live streamed, will be held in English, and it can be followed exclusively online.
