77th Session of Asia-Pacific Fishery Commission (APFIC) Executive Committee

Following the Asia-Pacific Fishery Commission (APFIC) Agreement Article III, the 77th Session of APFIC Executive Committee (EXCO) will be convened in Chiang Mai, Thailand from 5 to 7 March 2019. The Session shall be attended by all current members of the Executive Committee, namely, the representatives of Thailand (Chairperson), China (Vice-Chairperson), the Philippines (Out-going Chairperson), Nepal and the United States of America as members. The Secretary of APFIC shall serve as ex officio member and Secretary of the Committee.

The EXCO will be reported to by the Secretariat on the major events and activities implemented by the commission since the last session of EXCO. The EXCO will review the Programme of Work with the members, prepared by the Secretariat and endorse it with possible recommended changes. The EXCO will review and make a decision on the Road map to 2018-2023 APFIC strategy proposed by the Secretariat. The EXCO will also discuss the APFIC budget and administrative issues.
