ASEAN Meeting on Koronivia Joint Work on Agriculture

Objectives
Familiarize ASEAN agriculture sector climate change focal points with their UNFCCC national focal points and the representatives of the ASEAN Working Group on Climate Change;
Familiarize ASEAN agriculture sector climate change focal points with KJWA and the protocols of UNFCCC engagement;
Review the outcomes of the AMAF discussion items on KJWA and COP24;
Finalize principles and/or text for an ASEAN position on KJWA and possible submission on modalities for KJWA by the 22 October deadline; and
Prepare a strategy for ASEAN delegations at COP24 to coordinate on agriculture sector issues and advance the ASEAN position on KJWA at COP24.
