Second National Training Workshop on Compilation and Validation of Supply Utilization Account (SUA)/Food Balance Sheet (FBS) and Agriculture Production Index (API) of Malaysia.

This second National Training Workshop propose to organize under ongoing regional project ‘TCP/RAS/3618: Strengthening the capacity for monitoring Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture in the context of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2 and 12’ and aims to build further capacity in Malaysia on compilation as well as validation of SUA/FBS by providing in-depth technical training on revised methodology and country specific FBS tool. Furthermore, it will also be important to raise awareness of the potential uses of the FBS and its relevance as a food security policy analysis tool, taking into consideration its link to some of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) indicators.
