The 2nd Asia-Pacific Agriculture Climate Services Week

Hybrid Event, 30/11/2021 - 07/12/2022

The 2nd Asia-Pacific Agriculture Climate Services Week will be organized between 30 November- 3, December & 7 December 2021. The time is 10:00 to 13:00 each day [Bangkok time/GMT+7]. The event aims to share innovations and promote climate services to support the transformation toward climate mitigation and adapted, resilient agri-food systems in the Asia-Pacific.

The five-day session will be organized around the following topics:

Day 1, November 30: Evidence-based climate resilient agriculture planning and investment

Day 2, December 1: Agrometeorological services to address multiple hazards

Day 3,  December 2: Early Warning and Anticipatory Action to transform the management of climate extremes/disasters

Day 4,  December 3: Beyond crops - climate services for all sub-sectors and value chains

Day 5, December 7: Cross-cutting issues and The Way Forward
