UN-FAO ‘State of Food Insecurity (SOFI)-2015’
The annual UN-FAO publication on ‘State of Food Insecurity (SOFI), 2015 has just been released – in addition, a regional summary has been prepared comparing Asia and the Pacific country achievements of Millennium Development Goal (MDG) targets set in 2000 of reducing the extreme poverty rate in half by 2015, and the World Food Summit goal to reduce by half the number of hungry people in the world by 2015.
