Food Day will aim to make meaningful strides to support countries to advance the implementation of their commitments aligned with the COP16 theme: "Peace with Nature". To do so, agrifood systems and their actors need to be taken into consideration. To bend the curve of biodiversity loss, food security and biodiversity considerations need to go hand-in-hand.

The NBSAP Day is designed to bring together a diverse array of stakeholders to showcase progress, share lessons learned, and explore innovative solutions for advancing NBSAP implementation. The event facilitates in-depth discussions among policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders addressing the challenges, opportunities, and strategies for effective NBSAP implementation at national and local levels.

Education Day at the Biodiversity Plan Pavilion will deliver on the May 2024 request from the Convention on Biological Diversity’s Subsidiary Body on Implementation to set out the framework of a Global Plan of Action for Education on Biodiversity, encompassing formal, non-formal, and informal education.

Trade Day aims to facilitate and advance discussions among negotiators and stakeholders on potential pathways, best practices and solutions for trade and trade-related policies to address biodiversity loss and implement the goals and targets of The Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. Similarly, it will draw attention to biodiversity protection and restoration as well as sustainable and inclusive development.
