Africa Rice Congress presentations
The first Africa Rice Congress was held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania from 31 July to 4 August 2006. Organised by the Africa Rice Center (WARDA), papers at the congress considered the issues of integrated pest management; socio-economics; natural resource management; technology transfer; and rice breeding and crop improvement (covering e.g. genomics and use of genetic markers).
