Reports of regional consultations on plant breeding capacity
The Global Partnership Initiative for Plant Breeding Capacity Building (GIPB), FAO and partners have previously carried out a worldwide assessment of national plant breeding and related biotechnology capacity (PBBC). To analyse these results, the GIPB recently held three regional electronic discussions: for Latin America and the Caribbean, South-Eastern and Southern Asia and for Western Asia and Northern Africa.
