The Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA) is an open-ended inter-governmental scientific advisory body of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity. Its 10th meeting took place on 7-11 February 2005 in Bangkok, Thailand, where it adopted 13 recommendations, one of them (X/11) entitled "Advice on the report of the Ad Hoc Technical Expert Group on the Genetic Use Restriction Technologies".
