FAO and WHO, in collaboration with the International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI), held a workshop on "Detection of protein and/or DNA in foods derived from modern biotechnology" on 5 March 2004 in Budapest, Hungary, immediately prior to the 25th session of the Codex Committee on Methods of Analysis and Sampling.
