On 12-13 June 2006 in Madrid, Spain, the Global Partnership Initiative for Plant Breeding Capacity Building (GIPB) held a Stakeholders Forum to discuss the needs for plant breeding and related biotechnology capacities identified by developing country scientists through FAO surveys and the capabilities of GIPB partners to address those needs.
