FAO presents a new tool to monitor fisheries and aquaculture product prices in Europe

FAO presented the GLOBEFISH Price Dashboard; a new information tool to monitor European prices of fisheries and aquaculture products. Through its weekly updates, the tool reflects the dynamic environment of fisheries and aquaculture markets. This information is not only valuable for consumers and retailers in Europe, but also for producers and exporters outside the continent, who provide the majority of fish and seafood products consumed in Europe.

The GLOBEFISH Price Dashboard allows users to browse prices, analyse trends, and search or filter prices according to species, scientific name, species grouping, product presentation or treatment. Data is divided into three categories of species namely: Fish, Crustaceans and Molluscs, with photos included for easy reference. Price data on individual species can be accessed under the relevant subcategories.
