In the celebration of the 2017 Antibiotic Awareness Week, the Food and Agriculture Organization in Cambodia (FAO) is organizing the strorytelling and photo essay contest on the theme "good practices toward infection freedom".

The photo contest is opened to all including photography enthusiasts, animal farmers, farm practitioners, veterinary students, organizations and others (FAO employees, contractors and their immediate family members are excluded to participate in this contest).

The essay should be presented in pictures and an accompanying story on how good farming practices (for livestock, fish and crops) contribute to infection prevention and control in Cambodia.

Three Cambodian winners will be selected to compete for one regional winner at the inter-country competition within Asia. The Regional winner, to be notified on 24 October, will be invited to the United Nations Regional Office for Asia and the Pasific (FAORAP) in Bangkok for the Antibiotic Awareness Week with travels and accommodation covered. The three selected national winners will be provided with prices during the Young Professional Meeting at the Royal University of Agriculture (RUA) on 14 November.

Entries must be submitted during the contest period—from 26 September to 13 October 2017 and sent as a pdf-file to [email protected] with subject line: AAW Contest.
