Célébration de l'année internationale des camélidés

The event “Celebrating the International Year of Camelids” will be held in southern Algeria and focus on dromedaries. It promises to have a significant impact by bringing together participants from various neighbouring countries and key regional stakeholders. A rich and varied program is being developed in collaboration with the local government. It will highlight local culture and include discussions on globally important topics. The program will include:

• Exhibition of Local Products: Featuring goods made from camelid production.

  • Animal Health Solutions: Discussions on the latest advances and challenges in animal health.
  • Role of Camelids in Food Security: Seminars on the impact of camelid farming on regional and international food security.
