III International Seminar on Sustainable Production of South American Camelids: Securing Biodiversity

The III International Seminar on Sustainable Production of South American Camelids: Securing Biodiversity will be held from July 10th to 12th on the campus of the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina, Lima, Peru.

The objective is to strengthen the capacity of researchers, technicians and breeders in the sustainability of diversity and breeding of South American camelids. This event will also be part of the celebration of the International Year of Camelids coordinated by FAO in 2024.

The event will consist of a series of activities such as: Conferences, short oral and poster presentations, workshops, commercial exhibitors, field visits and laboratory visits.

The languages of the event will be English and Spanish (translation service available).

The event will be organized in the following blocks: (i) Genetics and Breeding, (ii) Reproduction, (iii) Nutrition and Feeding, (iv) Animal Health and Welfare, (v) Sustainability of Biological and Cultural Biodiversity.
