Reproduction in camelids - Training webinars on camel particularities, production and global breeding practices

Virtual Event, 03/09/2024

As part of the International Year of Camelids and in recognition of the hard work of breeders in often extreme conditions, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is delighted to present a series of webinars dedicated to dromedary camels.

This webinar series aims to raise awareness among public and private professionals and farmers on the importance of dromedaries and catalyze concrete actions to support breeders and promote the sustainability of camel breeding. By facilitating the exchange of expertise and networking among stakeholders, the webinars will strengthen the technical and institutional capacities to address current and future challenges related to dromedary breeding.

The webinars will bring together international experts, researchers, practitioners, government representatives, civil society organizations, and dromedary breeders. Each session will be moderated by a competent moderator in the relevant field.
