Schoolchildren and camelids in Santa Catalina, Jujuy, Argentina

Vicam organized the first workshop with Puna school children, celebrating the International Year of the Camelids 2024. The workshop involved girls and boys from the 6th and 7th grades of the Santa Catalina primary school in Jujuy Province, Argentina. During the workshop, students built an "articulated camelid" by drawing camelids on a poster and instead of painting them...they glued camelid fiber on them! Additionally, discussions were held regarding the importance of these animals in the nature, society and economy of the Puna.
