CFS, the Coalition and Global Indigenous Youth Caucus briefing session on the United Nations Global Indigenous Youth Forum outcomes and CFS 51

A closing special joint debate entitled "CFS, the Coalition and Global Indigenous Youth Caucus briefing session on the United Nations Global Indigenous Youth Forum (UNGIYF) outcomes and CFS 51" will be held on 20 October from 18.30 to 19.30 (UTC+2) at the Sami Tent, FAO headquarters in Rome. The closing ceremony of the event will be held from 19.45 to 21.40 (UTC+2) at the Sami Tent, FAO headquarters in Rome.

The biennial UNGIYF, which will take place from 16 to 20 October, will bring together over 400 attendees, including indigenous youth from all seven socio-cultural regions, high-level representatives from governments, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations, representatives from academia, scientists and other relevant stakeholders. The Forum will provide a space for dialogue to discuss policies affecting the future of indigenous peoples' food and knowledge systems in the context of climate and biodiversity action and promote concerted policy recommendations and actions.
