Registration for Member and Non-Member States

Diplomatic representatives designated to attend CFS 51 must register on the FAO Members Gateway by 15 September 2023, using their protected password reserved for FAO Permanent Representatives.

Registration for Other Stakeholders

Participants and Observers designated to attend CFS 51 should send an email to [email protected] by 15 September 2023 indicating name and last names, organization, official title, address, and email address.

Personalized links to access the virtual meeting will be made available upon receipt of the above information.

In the event that a Member delegation will include senior-level participation such as a Minister, Vice Minister, State Secretary (or equivalent), those delegations should inform the CFS Secretariat at [email protected] by 29 September 2023 to be afforded priority protocol consideration on the speakers’ list.

Reception and catering facilities

Reception on Monday 23 October 2023
from 21.00 in the FAO Terrace (8th floor)

A special cocktail entitled “Brazilian sustainable and inclusive kitchen” is hosted by the Permanent Representation of Brazil to FAO, IFAD and WFP for CFS 51 participants. 

Reception on Wednesday 25 October 2023
from 18.15 to 20.00 in the FAO Atrium (Tree of Life)

A reception on the Initiative on Climate Action and Nutrition (I-CAN) is hosted by the Permanent Representations of Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, with support from FAO, GAIN, WHO and SUN Movement. 

Catering facilities

At FAO HQ, catering facilities are open during the following hours:

  • Building A, Ground floor: Bar A (Polish) - 8:00 to 17:00
  • Building B, Ground floor: Bar Hall of Flags - 8:00 to 15:00
  • Building B, 8th floor:
    • Food Court - 12:00 to 15:00
    • Bar Fountain - 8:00 to 15:00
  • Building C, 8th floor:
    • Restaurant - 12:00 to 15:00
    • Uzbekistan Lounge - 8:00 to 17:00
  • Building D, Ground floor: Bar D - 8:00 to 17:00
