JUNE 2021

CFS is pleased to invite you to a public event on “Closing data gaps and promoting evidence-informed decision-making for food security and nutrition”

Register now
Despite considerable efforts, most countries still cannot cover basic food security and nutrition data needs, nor do they have the capacity to analyze and use, even the limited data at their disposal, to develop policies and promote investments to advance food security and nutrition.

This event will help identify possible policy solutions and good practices. It will kick-start a new CFS policy convergence process on data systems and tools for food security and nutrition that will include a report by the CFS High Level Panel of Experts (CFS HLPE) on this topic, to be released in 2022.

The event will be interpreted in English, French and Spanish. More information on the event, including the concept note and programme, can be found here.
