Call for comments on the revised – unedited – draft of the Third Report on the State of the World’s Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture

The revised – unedited – draft of the Third Report on the State of the World’s Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture is now out for review (click here to download). 

A first draft of The Third Report on the State of the World’s Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture was presented to the Commission in July 2023. The Third Report builds on the second global assessment, published by FAO in 2010, and analyses the progress made in the implementation of the Second Global Plan of Action for Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture, adopted by the FAO Council in 2011. Based on the findings of the Third Report, the Commission is expected to review the Second Global Plan of Action at its 20th Session in March 2025.
