Mango

An ancient fruit and arguably the most popular in many parts of the world, were introduced to Egypt by Mohamed Ali Pasha in 1825 coming from Sri Lanka. Fresh Egyptian mango is one of the most nutritionally rich fruits, with a distinctive flavor, smell and taste, which is why Egyptian mango is a unique fruit, with an incomparable tropical delicacy. 

Egypt’s mango exports have risen to 36,299 tons, in 2019, according to an official statement issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, and the total mango production in Egypt more than 600 thousand tons.
