Local Heroes: Adopting camels and improving nutrition and livelihoods, Samburu, Kenya
This video presents the multiple benefits that the adoption of dromedary camels brought, for over 25 years, in Samburu. With the technical support of PEAR Innovations to women’s groups, dromedary camels were identified as a climate resilient solution to grant food security and nutrition, and create livelihood opportunities.
