Director-General and Prime Minister of Serbia stress the importance of digital agriculture

11 October 2019 – FAO Director-General Qu Dongyu met today with Ana Brnabić, Prime Minister of Serbia.
During their talks, they agreed on the importance of promoting healthy and sustainable food systems and to further strengthen cooperation in areas of common interest, especially in digital agriculture.
The Director-General presented FAO’s new Hand-in-Hand Initiative, for which Ana Brnabić expressed strong interest and support. The initiative prioritizes targeted work that benefits people in the world’s most vulnerable regions.
