Director-General and Serbian Minister of Agriculture to cooperate on digital agriculture

11 October 2019 – FAO Director-General Qu Dongyu met today with Branislav Nedimovic, Serbian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management. During their talks, they expressed interest to work together on promoting healthy and sustainable food systems.
The parties discussed future cooperation on digital agriculture in farming, marketing and the development of rural areas.
The Director-General and the Minister of Agriculture also explored ways to further collaborate within the framework of Hand-in-Hand Initiative towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
