FAO Director-General and Serbian Minister of Environmental Protection discuss importance of Green Agriculture

11 October 2019 – FAO Director-General Qu Dongyu met today with Goran Trivan, Serbian Minister of Environmental Protection. During their talks, they emphasized the importance of bio and food diversity for sustainable and healthy food systems, and reviewed the potential of public-private partnerships in the areas of wastewater management.
The Minister of Environmental Protection expressed interest in collaborating with FAO on activities related to environmental-friendly agriculture. The Director-General assured the Minister of the Organization’s technical assistance.
