Peru Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister discusses cooperation with FAO

9 September 2019, Rome - Peru’s Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jaime Antonio Pomareda, visited FAO for a meeting with FAO Director-General QU Dongyu with talks focusing on ways to strengthen cooperation and collaboration between the Republic of Peru and the UN agency.

In particular, they discussed ways to enable Peru to enhance its contribution to South-South and Triangular Cooperation programmes in which third parties are beneficiaries, especially in relation to addressing climate change, preserving biodiversity and promoting the blue economy.
