United States Virgin Islands

Vegetation description

Twenty-one mangrove sites are identified on the three islands; some of which are included in the Virgin Islands National Park. These are largely saline ponds with a scrubby mangrove fringe. The sites are scattered throughout the islands, with the largest sites being found on St. Croix.
