The purpose of this document is to provide the Conference with an update of the status of contributions at 4 December 2003, as follows:

4. The following statistics show the cumulative percentage receipts of current assessments over the past five years. 2003 is reported only up to 4 December.

6. The position of Member Nations with arrears of contributions at 4 December 2003 was as follows:

7. Additional information regarding arrears due at 21 November 2003

The total arrears at 4 December was $61,995,290.85 (Appendix B/Appendix C) equivalent to 19.13 percent of current assessments.
Twelve Member Nations had arrears in excess of US$1 million (Appendix C)
Arrears exceeding US$1 million were equivalent to 16.08 percent of current assessments
Arrears exceeding US$1 million accounted for 84.05 percent of the total arrears due
Thirty-five Member Nations had arrears in such amounts as to jeopardise their right to vote in accordance with Article III.4 of the Constitution (Appendix G)
