Open Call for AgriTech Champions – Digital demo farms (deadline: 10 September 2023)
A part of the Digital Villages Initiative in Europe and Central Asia
FAO invites agritech innovators to showcase their digital solutions on demonstration farms in selected countries of Europe and Central Asia (Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan) as part of the 1 000 Digital Villages Initiative (DVI). On these digital demo farms, participants will have the chance to display innovative agricultural technologies, products, and services, testing and putting them into practice for the benefit of local farmers and communities.
The call is open to any organization, including established agtech providers, startups, academic institutes, and non-governmental organizations. If you own a technology that can support agricultural activities, this is your chance to make a tangible impact on sustainable agriculture and rural development in the region!
Important dates:
- Submission deadline: 10 September 2023
- Selection of agritech innovators: 30 September 2023
- Organizations are expected to deploy their solutions by 30 November 2023.
