Q1. What government policies and programmes provide support for businesses in digital agriculture in a particular country? Please include references where possible.

Q2. With reference to the above, what recommendations can be tabled to enhance the performance of these policies and programmes? Kindly justify your recommendation(s) with references where possible.

Q2. There is a need for policies that would enable the development of a robust database that would capture farmers at rural level.  Also data should be made available for planning and managing agricultural activities by farmers

Nigeria: The National Accelerated Food Production Programme,  Youth Empowerment Scheme, Green Revolution,  Operation Feed the Nation, Agricultural Development Projects, Farm Settlement Scheme, Agricultural Transformation Agenda, just to mention a few provide indirect support for businesses in digital agriculture in Nigeria.

Q2. To enhance the performance of the Agricultural policies and programmes in Nigeria, the following recommendations are suggested: 1. Adoption of social and gender-inclusive principles; 2. Adoption of people-centred, participatory, and need-based approach; 3. Active involvement of public-private organizations; 4. Active involvement of tertiary institutions to provide the scientific supports essential for effectiveness and sustainability; 5. Regular monitoring and evaluation.

Q1. Aucuns à ma connaissance d'ailleurs jusqu'à ce jour aucune entreprise de l'agriculture numérique sénégalaise est mise sur pied.

Q2.  Nombreux sont les jeunes qui veulent entreprendre dans l'agriculture numérique mais faudra d'abord les aider à réaliser leur projets agricoles leur soutenir financièrement et techniquement

Q2. Nous recommendont seulement a notre gouvernement d'augmentent le budget et d'ameliore le condition (critere), au jeune gent qui non pas d'experience que de moyen financiel necessaire dans le secteur de l'agriculture numerique.
