Description
Approved Chongqing, a municipality directly under the Central Government, to be Chinas first inland meat entry port. This means that imported meat can be shipped direct to Chongqing and does not have to undergo customs clearance at the port of entry. This is anticipated to reduce transportation costs and increase the price competitiveness of imported meat.
