Description
Increased the procurement price for wheat and barley for the next season, with wheat increasing to SYP 125 per kg (USD 580 per tonne) from SYP 100 per kg (USD 470 per tonne) and barley increasing to SYP 100 per kg (USD 470 per tonne) from SYP 75 per kg (USD 352.5 per tonne). The measure aims to provide an incentive to boost domestic production.
