Tax policy

Announced a reduction in the value-added tax on agricultural goods – effective 1 July 2017 – as part of ongoing reforms to simplify the country’s tax structure and stimulate economic growth. The measure will apply to oilseeds and oilseed products, whether locally produced or imported.
