Description
Opened an international tender seeking another 50 000 tonnes of non-Basmati parboiled rice. This was the fifth tender issued since May 2017, when officials announced that they would purchase rice abroad in order to refurbish state stockpiles and supply rice to vulnerable groups under state-run programmes.
