Import quota
Description
Decided to increase the shortage import quota approved in November 2017 by 20 331 tonnes of paddy and extend its delivery period, in light of production losses caused by Tropical Storm Nate. Accordingly, the National Rice Corporation (CONARROZ) would be authorised to import a total of 62 507 tonnes of paddy, free of duties, between 1 January and 31 August 2018.
