Description
Implemented three successive increases in the price that oil companies are required to pay for biodiesel.
Notes
During the AugustSeptember period, the government-set price that oil companies need to pay for biodiesel has been raised thrice, reaching ARS 26 509 (USD 725) per tonne as of 10 September 2018. Reportedly, the adjustments were triggered by the recent changes in the Argentinas export tax for soybean oil, the countrys main biodiesel feedstock.
