Description
During the months of September and October, the Agriculture Ministry authorized relief payments under its Harvest Guarantee Programme worth a total of BRL 468 million (USD 111.5 million), with assistance earmarked for some 520 000 smallholder farmers in the country’s drought affected northern and north-eastern regions.
