Description
Released an emergency plan to regulate, in the Beijing Municipality, the supply and prices of grains and cooking oil such as soybean oil. Under the measure, municipal authorities would monitor wholesale and retail prices and may resort to price control mechanisms, including the release of grains/cooking oil from state-owned stockpiles.
